A Time Such as This (Come, Follow Me)

Am I prepared to serve a cause greater than myself, even if it requires courage and great sacrifice?  That's the powerful story of Esther which we are studying this week for Come, Follow Me.

"Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14)

And He Prospered

From this week's Come, Follow Me chapters, we read one of the great messages of the scriptures, that the Lord will prosper those who follow Him and keep His commandments.

L. Whitney Clayton said, "God's prosperity is the power to press forward despite the problems of life."  And we all need that.

 He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.
 For he clave to the Lord, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses.
 And the Lord was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth....
2 Kings 18:5-7
