Coach John Wooden on Success

   My definition of success is peace of mind through self-satisfaction in knowing that you've done the best that you're capable of doing.  

  Now the Good Lord didn't see fit to create us all equal in any respect:  Physically, environmentally, as far as appearance is concerned, as far as height or weight or looks.  We're all different.  

  But we all have an opportunity to make the most of what we have under the conditions that exist for us and if we're a whiner and a complainer and are always comparing ourselves with the other fella, we never make the most of what we have and we're just abject failures.  That's all there is to it.
