The Framer of Heaven and Earth (Come, Follow Me)

This week's Come, Follow Me reading (Doctrine and Covenants 20–22) teaches some beautiful doctrines on our Heavenly Father's plan for our happiness and the role of Jesus Christ in that plan. 

The Universe Displayed

The past few weeks as we've watched the arrival of NASA's Perseverance rover at Mars and the stunning images, video, and sound that Perseverance has already begun to return, I couldn't help but think of this amazing universe whose beauty reminds me of the love of our Creator. I felt this every time other spacecraft like the Cassini orbiter at Saturn returned pictures like this.

I love the humility and gratitude of the hymn, "How Great Thou Art" including this section:

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds thy hands have made,

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,

Thy power throughout the universe displayed
